Modified bitumen

Modified bitumen roofing, being asphalt-based, is designed for low slope roofs. “Mod-bit” has been successfully used in the United States for over 40 years.  Its unique properties give it many of the benefits of old-fashioned built-up roofing (think tar and gravel) and some of the convenience of today’s single-ply roofing systems.  If you are re-roofing a flat roof, mod-bit should be on your list of options

TPO

Thermoplastic Polyolefin is a single-ply roofing membrane that is one of the fastest-growing commercial roofing systems on the market. TPO roofing systems are made up of a single layer of synthetics and reinforcing scrim that can be used to cover flat roofs.

PVC

Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) single-ply roofing membranes are among the most popular commercial roofing products available today. They’re remarkably durable and highly resistant to some of the toughest flat-roof aggressors like fire, chemicals, and hurricane-level winds. The benefits of PVC roofing go beyond durability to include solar reflectivity, which can help regulate building temperature and energy use. PVC roofing systems have been put to the test and trusted by building owners around the world for more than 35 years.

Thru wall flashing

EPDM is an extremely durable synthetic rubber roofing membrane  (ethylene propylene diene terpolymer) widely used in low-slope buildings in the United States and worldwide. Its two primary ingredients, ethylene and propylene, are derived from oil and natural gas. EPDM is available in both black and white, and is sold a broad variety of widths, ranging from 7.5 feet to fifty feet, and in two thicknesses, 45 and 60 mils. EPDM can be installed either fully adhered, mechanically attached or ballasted, with the seams of the roofing system sealed with liquid adhesives or specially formulated tape.

built up roof system, also known as a BUR, consists of layers of asphalt and ply sheets that provide superior protection.

Through wall flashing is above grade waterproofing. It protects specific areas within exterior wall assemblies and creates an impervious barrier for water to follow to the face of the exterior finish.

Standing Seam Metal Roofing

Standing seam metal roofing is a concealed fastener roofing system which features vertical or trapezoidal legs with a flat space in between. Since these panels are attached to the roof deck with clamps, they’re free of any holes from nails or other fasteners which could allow moisture to seep through.
